CTET July Exam 2020 Eligibility Details

Primary Stage-Class I-V

  • Upper secondary with at least 50% of grades and approved or appearing in the last year of the 2-year Diploma in Primary Education (by any known name) OR
  • Upper secondary with at least 45% of grades and approved or appearing in the last year of the 2-year Diploma in Primary Education (by any known name), in accordance with the NCTE (Standards and recognition procedures), Regulation, 2002 O
  • High school with at least 50% of the grades and accredited or appearing in the last year of a 4-year primary education bachelor (B.El.Ed). or
  • High school with at least 50% of the degrees approved and accredited or that have appeared in the last year of a two-year education diploma (special education). or
  • Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of the two-year Diploma in Primary Education.

Secondary Stage-Class VI-VIII

  • Graduation and passing or appearing in the last year of the 2-year Diploma in Primary Education (by any known name). OR
  • Graduation with a minimum grade of 50% and pass or appear in a one-year Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed). or
  • Graduation with a degree of no less than 45% and passing or appearing in a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), according to the NCTE Regulations (Recognition Standards and Procedures) issued from time to time in this regard. or
  • Upper secondary with at least 50% of grades and approved or appearing in the last year of a 4-year Primary Education Degree (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Upper secondary with at least 50% of grades and approved or appearing in the last year of 4 years B.A / B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% grade and passing or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special education).
